Manchester Young Lives held a film launch at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Birley Campus on Thursday 3rd November as part of our Healthy Relationships programme.
The event showcased a new film which explores young people’s views of Healthy Relationships. Produced by young people from Hulme, Moss Side and Rusholme, the film tackles issues such as:
- Peer pressure
- Threats and grooming
- The law
- Sexting
The film is part of Manchester Young Live’s wider education programme addressing child sexual exploitation, unhealthy relationships, teenage pregnancy, STD’s and domestic violence. Produced in partnership with Odd Arts, it will be used as a learning tool in workshops with schools and it aims to inform young people to make empowered choices.
