Several young people from Manchester Young Lives’ Youth Engagement programme, along with members of the city council, trade unions and community groups took part in a torch-lit march on the 25th February in Manchester city centre. The march was organised to highlight the negative impact government cut backs in funding to education, health and social care continue to have on the local community in Manchester and was attended by over one thousand people.
