We were delighted to celebrate the success and achievements of our children and young people yet again on Thursday 18th May 2017. Another excellent event well attended by young people and their families , staff and trustees and colleagues from partner organisations.
A number of young people delivered outstanding performances including Shiloh -rapping, Melissa singing a solo of Adele’s ‘Send my love’, and our very own A6 dance troupe who choreographed an excellent routine. They all just oozed talent and confidence which was so impressive. Definitely had the wow factor!
We are extremely grateful to all those who supported the event through donations or in kind support,we particularly want to thank MMU for providing use their fantastic spanish steps at the Birley campus. Thank you also to our invited guests for taking time out of their busy schedule to present awards, an inspiring keynote speech delivered by Sir Richard Leese encouraged young people to be curious in their quest to succeed. Thanks also to Mike Kane and Lucy Powell (Parliamentary Candidates) and Cllr John Flanagan who presented awards despite the pressures of a busy election campaign.
