Last Thursday, at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse on 30th November, some members of our Youth Engagement team launched MYL’s CSE project evaluation: a review which has taken place in light of the project’s first full year in operation. They put a huge amount of work into hosting this dissemination event, which was delivered with great success.
As well as wanting to make external youth workers aware of MYL’s CSE Project – ‘Intersafe’ – this event was intended as a networking platform for other agencies to share information about the services that they provide. By continuing to place emphasis on the importance of multi-agency work, we aim to collaboratively tackle CSE more effectively across the Greater Manchester area.
This was a brilliant opportunity for our staff to continue building relationships with the external agencies who attended. We really enjoyed hosting this event, so thank you all for coming – we know how busy you are!
As well as discussions led by our CEO, our Youth Ambassadors and members of our Youth Engagement team, this event highlighted the work delivered directly by our young people, and the successes of Intersafe over the last year. All aspects of the project were subject to an independent evaluation in the lead up to this event.
