We are immensely proud of our Wythenshawe student Ravenn. Out of all the Year 11 leavers from the Manchester Secondary PRU, Ravenn has been presented with the Overall Achievement Award. What an amazing feat!

Over the last 9 months, Ravenn has gone from strength to strength. She began the school year as a young person still not quite confident in her own abilities, but she has worked hard to discover her strengths and build on areas for development so she can always be proud of what she achieves.

Ravenn’s teachers have mentioned countless times how impressed they are with her work ethic and her readiness for learning. She is always the first in the classroom and has completed every single task put in front of her without fail. On no occasion throughout the year has she let distractions stray her from her path to success and she has built fantastic relations with every member of staff at the site.

Ravenn is an avid reader and has been involved in book swaps with staff to help broaden her horizons. Her positive energy, sense of humour and free spirit will be hugely missed around MYL. To see a young person with such maturity and focus has been a pleasure.  Ravenn has been an exemplary student, and MYL would like to wish her the best of luck for the future.
