Play and Youth Worker (Blackley)

 

2.5 hours, Friday after school play session

£12.73 per hour (full time salary equivalent £23,166-25,209)

We are recruiting a Play & Youth Worker at Manchester Young Lives, to provide open access play activities. Our after-school play provision is Ofsted registered and provides activities for 6-13 year olds.

 

Our work enables often disadvantaged children and young people the opportunity to learn, develop and connect with their communities, build safe and supportive relationships with committed workers, and let off steam outside.

This role is based at a community venue in Higher Blackley.

 

Contract for 2.5 hours a week term, as well as additional casual hours up to 25 per week in the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays at other Centres. Role can work alongside daytime education or other work/personal commitments.
