I currently manage the outreach activities at UCEN Manchester on behalf of Greater Manchester Higher, a government funded project. I work in collaboration with all of the HEI’s across Manchester to primarily provide impartial information, advice, and guidance to Y9-Y13 learners with the intention to close the gaps for disadvantaged students. Secondary to this, I provide CPD to teachers and parents to equip them with the knowledge to support learners when making informed choices about their education pathways and career choices. I have 5 years’ experience on the largest education and skills group board in the UK and intend to use the experience and knowledge I have gained to give back to the local community.
